NOTIFICATION FOR ALLOTMENT OF PLOTS IN INDUSTRIAL PARKS

Kerala SIDCO has 17 major Industrial Estates and 36 Mini Industrial Estates spread all over Kerala.

Those who wish to apply for land/ shed in Industrial Estates/ Mini Industrial Estates under Kerala SIDCO shall apply in the prescribed form given below, which shall be downloaded. The application form costs Rs.30/- which shall be remitted as D.D while submitting applications in SIDCO.

The printed application forms can also be obtained from concerned Industrial Estate Offices and from SIDCO Head Office on payment of Rs.30/-.

The following documents should accompany the application form.

(1) In case of proprietorship firm, attested copy of MSME registration certificate, project report of the proposed unit, attested copy of photo identity card, EMD of Rs.3,000/-, scrutiny fee of Rs.1,000/- plus cost of application form of Rs.30/- in case of downloaded applications.

(2) In case of partnership firm, in addition to the above details, attested copies of partnership deed, certificate of Registrar of firms, photo identity cards of all partners.

(3) In case of Private Limited Company/ Co-op. Society etc., Registered Memorandum & Articles of Association/ Regulation & Byelaws, Name & address of Directors, Resolution of Board of Directors to obtain shed/ land on Outright Purchase, resolving to observe Rules if obtained and authorizing a person to sign all papers vis a vis Corporation for the purpose, Latest Balance Sheet of available etc. in addition to documents mentioned in (1) above.

The applications submitted by entrepreneurs will be scrutinized by an allotment committee constituted for the purpose and the eligible applicant selected. The members of the Allotment Committee include (1) Division Head – Industrial Estate Division, (2) Chief Engineer or nominee (3) Head, Finance & Accounts (4) Division Head – Industrial Park Division. The allotments are made based on the approved recommendations of the allotment committee. The allotment committee will be held once in a month or based on availability of applications.

On allotment of the land/ shed, the allottee shall pay the ORS value within 30 days. The allottee shall start the construction of factory building within a period of 3 months and complete the same within 6 months. The allottee shall further start the unit within a period of 1 year from the date of allotment order.

If an allottee, after complying all the allotment conditions, finds it difficult to run the unit and wishes to transfer the unit to another allottee or to change the constitution of the firm, they can transfer/ reconstitute the firm for industrial purpose after 2 years of allotment with prior approval of SIDCO by remitting processing fee at different rates based on area of land allotted as follows.

C type shed/ 10 cents : Rs. 2,000/-
B type shed/ 20 cents : Rs. 3,000/-
A type shed/ 25 cents : Rs. 7,500/-
Upto 50 cents : Rs.10,000/-
Upto 1 acre : Rs.15,000/-
Above 1 acre : Rs.25,000/-

If the land/ shed are kept unutilized, it would be resumed realizing resumption interest @ 6% on the total cost of land from the date of allotment.
